GRILLABEATS was founded in 2016 by artist and music producer UNRTHDX with a clear mission: to provide fresh, world-class beats to artists and share them with the world while staying authentic and true to our roots. What began as a solo vision quickly evolved into an international collective of forward-thinking beatmakers, producers and creatives located all over the globe.

From the very beginning, GRILLABEATS set the tone for what would later be called the "Trapanese" wave — fusing traditional Japanese-inspired sounds and aesthetics with modern (American) hip-hop and electronic production. That original blueprint resonated globally, driving millions of streams, sparking collaborations with creators worldwide, and inspiring countless producers to explore similar styles.

As our YouTube channel grew past 250,000 subscribers, we expanded our mission. GRILLABEATS began supporting producers locally; helping them place beats with major artists, sell their first productions, building their confidence and create sustainable careers. Recognizing their talent & skill early in their careers. Even for producers with no formal education, we developed special programs to follow through.

Today, GRILLABEATS remains recognized as both the originator of this sound and a hub where innovation, culture and craftsmanship meet — pioneering the scene where hip-hop and world-driven traditional sounds come together. Our focus stays the same: releasing the highest-quality beats while continuing to nurture the next generation of creators.
